Addressing your CoVid 19 concerns

If you're reading this, good for you. That means that you are taking this pandemic seriously. I know I certainly am. Here's what I feel you need to know about what's going on here at NoMoreWetSpot. We are basically a small home based business. I operate it, along with a secretary, from my acreage in rural East Central Alberta. The stock has been here in storage, with nothing new received since September 2019. We have both been social distancing and self isolating since March 15, 2020. I live alone and she lives with an adult daughter. Our contact has been limited to one another and our shared computer workspace is wiped down and keyboards traded out between each of our uses. The individual boxes, containing the blankets are wiped down with disinfecting wipes before being wrapped in plain brown wrapping paper for shipping.

We will keep shipping orders as long as the postal system continues to operate.

Importantly, the CDC (, the World Health Organization (, as well as the Surgeon General have indicated that there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through the mail.

Specifically, according to the World Health Organization, “the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and been exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.” And according to the CDC, “in general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.”

We will see you on the other side of this!
