Edit March 4, 2025 The US government has temporarily reinstated the $800 de minimis rule, meaning shipments under $800 per pe5rson, per day, will not be subject to the 10% tariff and 8.75% duty for polyester blankets.
Original blog post -Newly imposed tariff's, by the US Government, will see a 10% tariff imposed on all goods made in China (where our blankets are manufactured), and imported into the United States. This tariff may be collected by the delivering courier company, along with an 8.75% duty for polyester blankets, and they may also charge a brokerage fee to collect the tariff. We will be monitoring this closely and may make changes to our shipping policy as this develops.
